Dr. Adetutu Ajibose

Dr. Adetutu Ajibose, PsyD- Founder and CEO

Dr. Adetutu Ajibose, PsyD earned her degree of clinical psychology from William James College.  Her major area of concentration was African and Caribbean Mental Health and Children and Families of Adversity and Resilience (CFAR). Her passion for social justice and civil rights drives her involvement and leadership in multiple professional organizations, her ongoing international work, and zeal for multicultural experiences. She was a United Nation (UN) Fellow for the Association for Trauma and Outreach & Prevention (ATOP) Meaningful Words for the year 2018-2019.

Dr. Ajibose is the recipient of multiple awards and scholarships. Dr. Ajibose has participated in international service-learning programs to Kenya in 2016 and Haiti in 2017. In 2018, she returned to Kenya to participate in the Always Keeping Girls in School Project, an initiative responsible for the distribution of sanitary napkins to thousands of school-age girls in Nairobi. She was a leading member of a research team that developed a strength-based pilot curriculum that has been retained and modified for use in Kenya.

Dr. Ajibose hopes to continue to collect international data for cross-cultural comparisons and studies. Her professional interests include art therapy, neuropsychological evaluations, empowerment, international psychology, mental health stigmatization, positive psychology, substance use, and trauma. In her free time, Adetutu enjoys music, reading, spending time with family and friends, travel, writing and performing spoken word, and writing short stories.
